From Animal Lover to Trusted Trainer

I've always had a deep connection with animals. Growing up, I was the kid who'd stop to greet every dog on the street, ask the owner a million questions, and spend hours reading about animal behavior just because it fascinated me. But it wasn't until I started working directly with dogs and seeing how they respond that everything changed to different approaches, how they communicate, how they test boundaries and seek safety that I understood something important: training isn't really about the dog at all. It's about the handler. That's where my philosophy was born:

When the handler grows, the dog follows.

The dogs I work with aren't broken—they just need guidance. They're just waiting for a leader who is patient enough, consistent enough, and present enough to show them the way. My job is to help you become that person — and to walk alongside both of you while you get there.

Why I Do This?

I started Cutie Paw because I wanted to create something different in this industry something that puts the relationship first, the dollar second. I’ve seen what happens when dogs are rushed through programs, when handlers are left without support after a session ends, when ‘trained’ just means ‘temporarily compliant.’

That's not what I'm about.
